Sales Executive

If you are a solution oriented, driven sales professional and want to join an elite, high-performance sales team we are interested in talking to you.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 5 years sales experience, with experience selling to MCOs, TPAs, Large Employers
• A track record of success with a history of over-achievement
• Ability to prospect and communicate on an executive "C" level
• Ability to manage a complex sale

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives training completing all materials, passing all tests and role-plays required in the Account Executive Training Program. Regularly reviews selling skills, product knowledge and competencies gained that are necessary and required to meet job performance expectations.
• Conducts professional client consultations and presentations, following all standard operating procedures and maintaining a positive attitude with unquestionable integrity and honesty.
• Manages a prospect through a complex (and occasionally long) buying cycle.
• Follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Pro-actively troubleshoots problems and provides solutions for resolving customer complaints and/or concerns.
• Completes daily and weekly sales report, forecasts projected sales and maintains an up-to-date and accurate sales database using ACT.
• Attends and participates in weekly sales meeting, sales training sessions, as well as other professional development seminars. Through personal professional development, maintains a current level of knowledge in on-line population health management.
• Observes competitor's program, services, strategies, and tactics in marketplace.
• Assists in trade-shows and promotional activities as needed.

General Competencies:

• Proven Requirements Analysis and Requirements documentation skills
• Hands-on experience with web projects utilizing J2EE (EJB, STRUTS, Tiles etc.)
• Proven Business Analysis skills, required to drive requirements elicitation and functional requirements documentation.
• Must be capable of delivering team-enabled performance as well as self-directed performance.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience in the consumer healthcare field with emphasis on disease management education and have a solid educational background in health sciences. Must be well organized, able to meet deadlines, be comfortable working independently as well as in collaboration with staff writers, physicians, advisory board members, and executives at all levels.

Requirements:

• BA or BS degree in health sciences, journalism, or English.
• Advanced Degree in Sciences or Health Sciences preferred.
• Knowledge of AP style
• Web publishing experience is a plus.
